I think this might be important, and I have not Heard anything about it. If you are using an N95 mask that has that thimble-sized thing right in front the nose, that is a one way valve. It lets the wearer's breath out through the valve, to keep it cooler and less moist inside.
If You are using one of those, you are not protecting the person you are with. It only filters the air that comes in to you, but lets your unfiltered breath out through that valve. I think this could be very important, and it might even be worth repeating.
If you look carefully into the valve, you will see a little soft plastic membrane that blocks the unfiltered air coming in, but lets your possibly dangerous air out.
I am not an experienced long Tweeter. If the 1st message got disconnected from this thread, I am referring to N95 masks that have the little thimble sized thing in front of the wearer's nose.
