TMI, but possibly interesting/useful: I am due to get my breasts redone. Implants don't last forever & I had mine done in 09. You're supposed to have them done every 10 yrs. Most have them done more than once, but not every 10 yrs, especially if you get them done young. I was 20.

Not only am I getting them redone for required maintenance, I am switching from saline to silicon gel, which is higher quality. But mine have been leaking for awhile now.

Mine are submuscular, so the pocket has stretched to accommodate the implant. But the actual implants have gotten a little smaller. My boobs still look good, but they look more natural and the profile has changed a bit.

Anywho, I learned that I am going to have to go a little bigger than my last operation to maintain my previous profile and fill out the pocket. I just think it's funny lmao.

Also: because they've leaked and shrunk, they've moved. I can feel the valve on the right titty if I feel around. It doesn't hurt, but it feels strange.

I was due to get my operation last year, but I had to get a myomectomy for fibroids. As soon as it's safe, I am getting them redone, though. I will also likely get a bit of lipo too. My surgeon, Dr. Sorokin out of New Jersey, is really good a high quality, natural-looking work.
