bts 2014 concert ending ments ~ a short thread :D

so! i was rewatching the 2014 memories dvd, in which there is a disk specifically for the last show of the 2nd episode of the red bullet live trilogy shows (that’s a mouthful), and i thought the ending ments were really sweet so imma share the quotes i took from em ( ◠‿◠ )

these were spoken after the encore performance of road/path, you’ll see a theme of that which i thought was cool

‘i love army as much as i love my parents. thank you for walking down this path with us’ - seokjin

‘i always wanted to give up and i thought i won’t make it. i thought about this a lot. but this moment on stage is thanks to you, i feel really grateful and happy. so with all my heart, although i say this all the time, i love you and i thank you’ - yoongi

[tae seemed so grateful to have even gotten the chance to be on stage as a part of bts and it breaks my heart a lil because he’s so important & without him bts wouldnt be the same, i wish i could go back and tell him exactly how valuable he has ALWAYS been]

‘in a way people pursue happiness all their lives but i think this moment for me is happiness. not anything else.’ - namjoon

joon actually sang a bit during his ending ment. then song went ‘don’t think about it too much too much too much too much’ referring to thinking too deeply about the complicated shit in life

‘we always think too much and we evaluate what is happiness and what is good. but i have you here, who says we’ll be together on this road and i get to give you happiness and you said you’re happy, so that makes me really happy’ - namjoon

they wanted army to be on this path with them. they wanted us to be happy and walk alongside. and look where they are now! if i could go back in time and tell them exactly how much they would accomplish together in the coming years i bet their faces would be priceless

i’m so proud of them. the bright eyed young boys who went through so much pain and hardship have taken over the world !!!!! they’ve stayed so humble the entire time, choosing to prioritise us over all else. how many fans get to say that their band loves them THIS much?
