I& #39;ve been drawing for one week! I& #39;m improving!
If I can Have A Feeling for a second, I spent years believing I& #39;d never do even this much.
I was diagnosed as a kid with muscletone and coordination issues that made it difficult to draw precise lines or use a pen for long.

No one said I COULDN& #39;T learn to draw, just that it would be harder for me. And after spending hours erasing and redrawing my terrible mistakes until my hands felt ready to fall off, I gave up.
I would never draw. The smart thing to do (???) was to focus all that energy on writing and my other talents (actually just writing).
And that was fine! I wrote fun stories. I made cool artist friends who liked my work. I wrote comics I& #39;m still proud of!
But I couldn& #39;t draw.

A few years ago, I came across @UncleMod& #39;s work, and met my good buddy @Strontiumsun - creators working through physical issues who still put out fantastic comics.
Could I have done that? Eh, maybe not. But it was inspiring, and later I bought a tablet.

Then I ignored it! There was always something else to do that I was less terrible at, and I& #39;d developed tendinitis from work.
But now it& #39;s 2020 and I& #39;m trapped in a timeless self-isolation void, and I just thought, why the heck not? Maybe someone would enjoy my fumbling.

And, uh, it turns out Clip Studio& #39;s features help a lot? I& #39;m not great, but I& #39;ve made things _that look like things_, and that& #39;s a heck of a lot better than I& #39;ve ever done with paper.
I& #39;m getting better every day. Shapes get easier to understand when you can actually draw them.

This thread feels SUPER premature and self-indulgent at this point, but I& #39;m proud of myself and I want to see how much I can do, and I think we gotta embrace the things that make us feel that way.
That& #39;s it for the thread! Thanks to everyone who& #39;s followed me this far
