Alberta Premier Jason Kenney says his province has an excess of medical supplies due to & #39;excellent pandemic planning.& #39; It will send N95 masks and other supplies to Ontario, B.C. and Quebec. Ontario will also get 50 ventilators from Alberta. News release:
Alberta Premier Jason Kenney says he& #39;s & #39;absolutely confident& #39; sharing supplies with other provinces will not cause a shortage in his Alberta. He says he couldn& #39;t in good conscience stockpile equipment when other provinces are in danger of running out of PPE.
Clarification: The Alberta government has corrected one of the numbers in its news release. Ontario will receive 2.5 million procedural masks, not 5 million. The updated news release is below.
