I mean... I’m glad the media cares about health disparities all of a sudden, but coronavirus isn’t “revealing” anything that wasn’t already revealed long ago in birth outcomes, prevalence of chronic disease, and life expectancy data.

There’s an interesting line of research on racial disparities related to inflammatory cytokine production. This is particularly notable because doctors believe so-called “cytokine storms” may explain why some #COVID19 patients get so sick and/or die.
