#TS8 wish list/prediction *a thread
This era will not go back to her conventional August to October/November release or her newer April to August release. It will be unexpected and surprising
Single #1/Album announcement
After years of releasing some of the album's worst cuts as singles, Taylor will take a different approach and will surprise us with something that we don't expect.
On November 9th Taylor Swift will go live on Instagram, Youtube, Periscope (Twitter), and Facebook for just 13 minutes. There'll be cryptic messages, blurry images, and at the end the date 11.13.20 will flash. Afterwards Taylor will post to tune in to her live on November 12th.
Come November 12th at 8am we'll have our questions answered. We will have been right in decoding many of the live's hidden messages. The lead along with its music video and the album title/cover are shown off on her live. Many big morning shows will talk about it including GMA.
Hype will have built quickly and the song would have racked up a ton of pre-saves. The gp will be interested in this more than they were with Taylor's long, tiring, and semi boring ME! roll out.
Yet again due to Youtube leaks we'll find out the title and if the song is solo or a collab. The song will be solo which will make fans happy.
At 12am the song will drop. The song is a high energy EDM like track that details how exhilarating it is to fall in love with someone. Critics will give it good reviews and Swifties will love it. This song will set the stage for a more electronic and high speed album.
The song will not receive ME! or LWYMMD like radio numbers but will instead slowly build on radio. It'll be the same in terms of streaming and sales. However the track will end up having legs and do well going into the rest of It's first week.
We all know Taylor's invasive radio pushes hurt the songs long term because it just infiltrates the stations too much. Republic will have noted this and not push it as hard. This will be a good long term decision.
Single #1 first day numbers

iTunes: 23k
Spotify: 7.3M (2.9M US)
Youtube: 30M
Radio: 17M
Apple Music: top 2
These totals will be much less than LWYMMD's and ME!'s which will disappoint Swifties but it will trek on through the week rather well.

This will be a great start for the lead single. And will easily help it debut at #1. The GP's interest for the song will have helped it have gotten to the spot because it had legs through the week.

Single #2
That's right. You didn't think Taylor didn't write a song about the leaked phone call? Anyways. On the 17th of February Taylor will post a cryptic image with a receipt. The item on it will say "Karma" with price the price saying "2.19". This will be referring to February 19th.
The next morning GMA will exclusively announce that the 2nd single "Karma" will release later that night.
This will cause a lot of internet drama. It will trend for hours but later that evening Taylor will break her silence and show the opening of the video. There will be many old fashioned TV screens playing the leaked video, then right before the song starts it's cut.
At 12am the song will release. It'll be like LWYMMD and Better Than Revenge had a child. It'll have guitars and drums with hypnotizing vocals. An odd track that fans like and critics have mixed feelings on. It'll be purely experimental.
It'll have a solid radio push and get very aggressive playlisting. Will show good numbers for a second single.

This debut will not be enough to carry the song to #1 but it will still be a very strong debut for her. However the song's dramatic theme and experimentation will hurt it in the long run.

Single #3
Taylor Swift will take to Instagram on the same day as album launch to announce that single #3 will be coming out alongside the album and featuring Drake. The video will be #ShotOniPhone and come out on album day at 8am EST premiering on YouTube.
The song will have warm reviews. It'll be an R&B/pop blend. Something similar to Nice For What. Swifties will throw it in the End Game pile but the GP will eat it up.

This will be a close to #1 debut. But alas it'll have a #2 debut. Fans will be disappointing but it's longevity will be iconic.

This single will become one of Taylor Swift's top 10 biggest hits and the 2021 song of the summer. It will also become Taylor's most streamed song ever as a lead.
đŸŽ”Album Performance📈
The album will be 16 tracks long and have just one feature. With Drake. It'll be hotly anticipated. There will be 4 Target editions like with Lover and there'll be merch + tour bundles ensuring a juicy debut. It'll be predicted to have a soft debut but that will not be the case.
