I cannot believe people are still trying to say that 13 Reasons Why glorified suicide, mental illness etc. Itâs a FICTIONAL show that tackled real life situations & it provided the necessary help & treatment, if needed. ALSO it had warnings signs and itâs a mature-rated show.
The producers of the FICTIONAL show were not out to glorify or praise any of the subjects that were tackled, including suicide, Drug addiction, sexual harassment, racism, bullying, sexism and many other topics.
First off, the show is FICTIONAL (might I add again).
First off, the show is FICTIONAL (might I add again).
Second, it gets a conversation started and that can go far for anybody. As somebody who has experienced sexual harassment/assault, I respected 13 Reasons Why tackling ways on how to handle it. What Hannah Baker and many other students went through in that show is HEARTBREAKING-
But just a simple conversation to a trusted adult or to a close loved one can mean the world, especially if youâre trying to see some type of change in your life.
Hating on 13 Reasons Why has always been a trend but itâs got to stop.
Open your horizons and your mindset a little.
