Just heard from a loved one at Stafford Creek (Prison). 1) When people report or display symptoms, they are all put in the same quarantine unit. Sometimes they are double bunked; which means people who don’t have Covid might be exposed to Covid.

2) It is unclear if they are actually testing people. They seem to be mostly taking temperatures which means A-symptomatic people may be exposing people—especially a-symptomatic guards.

3) They are not receiving appropriate hygiene products, PPE or cleaners. Many men use the same microwaves, day rooms, restrooms, JPay, etc. Without the proper cleaning products they can’t sanitize properly.

4) No doctor or medical professional has spoken to the men about what is going on, what to expect or how to keep theirselves safe.

5) Corrections officers are the most likely to bring it into DOC. Most still are not following social distancing and some still are not wearing masks.
