I mean firstly this is just fucking stupid. Once you write a dossier like this, it exists. Don’t matter if you choose not to submit it. It exists you idiots and someone has given it to a journalist.

To explain: the Labour party in the death throes of the corbyn era put together a huge dossier hoping it would absolve them from any accusations of institutional antisemitism. Party lawyers have now told them not to submit it I think because it would help prove those accusations

This would simply prove what many of us suspected - fears of racism were not taken at face value, they were viewed through the prism of whether those involved were ‘pro-‘ or ‘anti-‘ corbyn, so the culture of dismissal of antisemitism and jewish fears grew.

Hilariously, even if everything in this dossier were true about anti-corbynites trying to sabotage by not handling antisemitism properly, that would still prove institutional antisemitism.... idiots. They try to blame it on another ‘faction’ but can’t even get that right.

So they’ve managed to:

- write a potentially self-incriminating dossier
- leak it thinking they’re covering their own arses but have actually dumped themselves right in the shit
- decided not to submit it to the EHRC who will be wanting it now anyway

Which I presume is the opposite of pretty much everything they hoped for. This is truly a monumental fuck-up which could only have been carried out by idiots.
