Just imagine he lives after the kiss. Rey tells him to hide, because it'll be better for him, at least for now, but he strongly refuses. He's finally free, doesn't want to hide or run away, he's tired of it. All he wants is to have normal life by her side. He knows he probably

risks his life with this desire, but he wants this only this way. It won't be a secret, he doesn't want Rey to lie to her friends or to hide their relationship from them. He hates lying. She understands it perfectly, and, still having doubts, agrees.

He's his fater's son after all. Imagine them walking into Resistance base on Ajan Kloss. Some doesn't want to believe who already appeared, some doesn't know him at all. Somebody asks who he is. He finally can firmly admit he is Ben Solo, son of Leia Organa and Han Solo.

But also he can't hide whom he pretended to be and what he did then. So, they knew him as Kylo Ren. He feels better after telling it all. Many in crowd rages. Finn and Poe recognize him and are telling people to killing him. Imagine Rey using the Force in this moment.

Maybe stopping laser bullets in the air, maybe some Force push on a bigger scale on many people. She restrains attackers and starts to tell everything. That they trusted her before and she asks them for their trust this time either. She tells them who really killed Snoke.

How the victory over Sidious wasn't possible without Ben. And, finally, that she is standing here alive because of him. That he is needed in that moment of war with FO. If they want to harm him that means they also want to harm her and she won't let it happen and so on.

Imagine him in this moment, standing slightly behind her, in absolute astonishment and admiration. She defends him. She cares of him. For the first time he has no doubts. Eventually she admits she is granddaughter of Palpatine. She tells it because the Resistance and her friends

should know. But it shouldn't change their opinion about her, because he meant nothing for her. She is just Rey, doing what she thinks she should do. That's why she didn't sell BB-8, that's why she trusted Finn, Resistance, and Ben.

Just imagine Rey being confident about her feelings, about not hiding her true legacy, but acknowledging it publicly and throwing away at the same time. Rey being confident about Rey. People calm down, but after her legacy's revelation some still have doubts, Finn and Poe can't

believe it and start being suspicious towards her also. Imagine Rose intervention in this moment. She tells more bloodshed isn't needed now. That every ally is precious. That she only knew this man as Supreme Leader, but she trusts Rey, because she doesn't hide anything to them.

She lost her sister because of FO, but at the same time she knows one man from FO who turned out to be devoted to their cause and, simply, good human being. They, as the Resistance, should be better and give a chance. Rey's in awe.

Finn exchanges looks with Rose, then looks at Ben and realizes it. She's right, they are the same, their stories are similar. They are both victims of the FO. He leaves the blaster and nods on Ben. He calms down Poe and talks to him that Leia would like that and she nominated him

as her successor. Imagine that Ben lost it completely when he saw Chewbacca. At first, he is kind of afraid of his reaction, he doesn't know if he is able to forgive him, but when he starts to remember everything from his childhood he can't stop himself.

He hugs him and burst into tears. Chewie knows, no words needed. Rey's happy. And imagine all this happens on green, full of life, planet, in the place which Rey adores.

Lucasfilm, by killing Ben Solo you not only killed a character. You destroyed every possibility for grow for your characters by not giving them a time with him. Every character you created is more interesting and can learn more when you give them interaction with him.

Their approach towards him is the beginning for them to learning about themselves. What I put there could be done in 7-12 minutes of the movie, at the end of it and it's still has more character development then in your whole movie. Only because I let Ben to be alive.

I still can't believe you wasted such potential.
