First, Camila is NOT known for being a chart dominator. From my count she has 4 songs that can be called hits. (BT, Hav, NBTS, and Sen)
So no, hits ain& #39;t required.>
And as for label concern, you can stop now. The label knows she can top charts but her focus is on studio and stage. They also know she& #39;s good for them. No ego to watch over, easy to work with, focused, and she is respected. YOU WANT THIS. They knew what this era had coming.
I don& #39;t know why so many are all "red alert". Everyone went into this project knowing what the aim was and potential outcome. Even the fans knew it. But many of those fans wanted to ignore it. You see those fans with the "this era is doing so bad!!"
No it ain& #39;t little ones.>
No it ain& #39;t little ones.>
If a label didn& #39;t like what it was seeing it would pull the plug and demand a course change. Hasn& #39;t happened. Plus she was dropping hints what the era direction would be even before album drop. Wouldn& #39;t the label say "NO" if things looked so bad??
They ain& #39;t worried.>
They ain& #39;t worried.>
Here& #39;s what gets some of Camila& #39;s fans scared. Her label and most of the public knows she& #39;s the artist that may not pull heavy charts and popularity but she can get people talking about music. She has a demand for her work and people enjoy seeing her. This is her established.>
Many of her fans don& #39;t want to hear it. After everything she& #39;s said they still demand her to be their "Pop Queen of chart domination celeb elite". That is nowhere near what her goals are.
Those fans just haven& #39;t grown out of that fantasy of her so they revolt in hopes for it.>

Think about it. They "say" they care, but then you see this happening.
Fans complaining about steps in an era she& #39;s happy with.
Fans insulting her handling of HER career.
Fans insulting the team she thanks for supporting her.
And the general fact she& #39;s happy they complain.>

Also keep in mind safe money says this about the current "fan dedication" to My Oh My.
IF it misses the top 10? Those same fans will roast that song as "a failure", be in Camila& #39;s ear non stop, and treat her team with even more disrespect.
even when 15 is great for this era>

And this is part of what some in her fanbase are so painfully oblivious to. In an artistic era where the promo is light if you see the results that Camila has seen with Romance? THAT& #39;S CALLED GOOD. Anyone knows this. They just choose to be oblivious because they don& #39;t like it.>
My hope is that at some point reality kicks in and those fans come around like others have.
"Ah, we just enjoy the music and the fact that Camila and her team are doing things the way she wants."
One can hope. meow.
