the United States fucking sucks and I’m seriously thinking about my long term future here:
One one hand I could find somewhere that treats their people better and get to broaden my worldview/experiences. I also haven’t traveled very much in my life and I really mf want to. I would be starting new in a different culture, economy & language tho
On the others, I could use what privileges I do have to help those around me that aren’t being represented. This country has SO much potential and even with its amassing of wealth, it would have been cool if it went back to the people in a time like this, given their exploitation
This country does not want me or my people succeed.
I’m referring to it’s owning class and it’s very vocal groups of bootlickers that prefer this system even at their own expense

if I were to leave, I feel like I would be abandoning the effort my parents made to ensure I would be born a legal citizen of this country so u h h h h h
But then again, if that was the case I wouldn’t have been trying to follow my passion in music?
