We spend too much time trying to hide our weaknesses and showcase our strengths. NO MORE. Let’s prove that everyone has both and that’s what makes us HUMAN - share something you feel insecure about (or used to). I’ll start.
For many years I used to stutter. A lot. It was really bad. Learning not to care (which took years) made it 99% better. I still stumble on words sometimes. It’s sometimes noticeable, sometimes it’s not.
I used to have severe social anxiety. One day I decided: “enough!” and made a goal of meeting and introducing myself to one stranger a day. I would do it in elevators, grocery stores, etc. In two weeks my social anxiety was gone. I now love interacting with people.
I once was completely broke. Literally, I woke up having 0 dollars, and no one to ask for help. It was one of the most life-changing experiences of my life.
There’s great power in accepting our flaws. Everyone is dealing with some BS, whether you see it or not - you see people make things happen, win awards, release games, etc. But all of that happens while struggling one way or another. Don’t let your flaws stop you.
