Respected @PMOIndia @narendramodi this tweet is to bring your attention to the situation regarding many Indians who have been stranded in Mauritius since the past month and there is no airlift available for them. The following is the response given by GOI.
@narendramodi You provided airlift for Indians stranded in Malaysia. There should be a similar procedure for them as well. More than 200 students, tourists and guest lecturers have been stranded there and they are petrified now.
@narendramodi Sir more than 100s of Indians are still stuck in Mauritius with zero idea as to when they can return home. We have our own people stuck there. This is a problem that the GOI should look into. Please help them and us. Thankyou
@PMOIndia @narendramodi Sir this is a grave issue and should be dealt with as the lockdown has been extended for another month and it wouldn’t be fair to them as they want to be with their families as well during such a crisis. I hope you can understand.
@PMOIndia @narendramodi My friend’s mother is stuck there as well with all the other Indians. Their family members are the ones suffering as well. I hope you can understand and will look into it and give us a favourable response. Thankyou.
@PMOIndia @narendramodi Sir I’m writing to you again as I’m sure you haven’t noticed this thread but this is a situation that needs your utmost attention. Please try and understand the condition that 100s of Indians are facing. Thankyou
