Seriously, "essential workers" are severely underrepresented in terms of having a union. Meaning they& #39;re the most vulnerable and exploited class of people during a global pandemic. The @iww can teach you how to organize your workplace and demand safe working conditions.
Although the @iww is a workers union, many of the members can help provide tactics to organize against a parasitic ruling class in other ways. For example, if you& #39;re unemployed during the pandemic and your landlord is demanding rent, we can teach you how to organize rent strikes
The @iww is an all encompassing workers union with various branches in cities across the entire world. Its not eurocentric or america centric. Odds are theres a branch nearby, and if there isnt, there& #39;s plenty of information in regards to starting your own local branch.
The @iww is not a political organization. Nobody cares whether you vote blue or red, or are communist or socialist or anarchist. As long as you& #39;re working class, as long as you believe you and your community deserve better, the iww is here to help make that change possible.
The @iww is historically an anarcho syndicalist union, which means its focused around organizing workers on an equal, non-hierarchical basis. This format has allowed them to win workers rights such as weekends, 8 hour work day, minimum wage laws, and child labor laws, and more.

The union dues go directly towards helping workers who go on strike or are in need of resources in some way. Its not for profit, it& #39;s to defend your livelihood while the capitalists seek to destroy it.
EVEN IF YOURE UNEMPLOYED, EVEN IF YOURE NOT POLITICALLY ACTIVE please join the @iww. If you have any money to spare, paying any amount in dues will be a great help to all the workers who need it. Plus you get a cool red card, a pin, and an informational packet when you join.
