If you think about it, many of us are born into our religion and worship just because that’s what our parents do. When most of the time, our own parents can’t even give us an explanation of why they worship and believe the way they do.

Do you understand what this causes? These beliefs end up being passed down from generation to generation. Maybe a couple of members will question and branch off and actually learn God - but this is rare.

This is not what God wants for us. He wants us to learn Him, to know his history and revelations! He’s clear and concise with his teachings. He does not complicate things and if it’s complicated...it’s probably not true.

Carrying blind faith is dangerous. I see too many people saying: “well, I believe in God - I just worship him this way and God loves me so what you have to say does not matter” ....have you ever pondered the thought that maybe your way of worship is sinful?!

I know this thread is a little all over the place, but my point is to stop blindly following and pick up a book or look through scholarly material and study and understand your way of worship.
