20 yrs ago (yes, I’m old) I was watching an Arsenal game in a pub on Stroud Green Rd. It was a good season for them so it was busy (
). There was an old boy in the corner who, for reasons now unknown, I knew to be Greek Cypriot.

He said nothing except to yell / half scream “ATTACK” when things looked promising. “ATTAAAACK.”
He got some funny looks and/but to support him a couple of lads yelled it too next time.

Fast forward to 80 minutes in, the entire pub screamed ATTAAAAACK at everything. Goal kicks. The lot. I mean, there were people who came in at 1/2 time and didn’t even know why who shouted with the best of us.
I miss the pub.
