You know how the Army and Marines handle the chaos of the battlefield?

They delegate as much authority as they can to the lowest levels. The NCOs and the junior officers, those closest to the fight and thus best positioned to respond.

It’s a matter of preference on my end, and I fully admit it, but little editorial flourishes like “wow” and “let that sink in” are a little annoying.
