Lol if klance were a hetero couple nobody would have doubted their romantically coded scenes. I can literally prove that to you with like, 3 examples

Example 1:
Shay and Hunk. They were sitting and watching the sunset. That scene was romantically coded. But when klance did the same just Keith spoke about how great Lance was, that scene suddenly wasnt romantically coded?

example 2:
Shay and Hunk. The scene on balmera where they were looking at each other with purple lighting etc. Mirrored the bonding moment, minus the "we are a good team", soft music (i think) and the super fond faces. Hunk/shay's scene was romantic but Klances suddenly wasnt?

example 3:
Allura and Lance. In the scene where Allura saved Lance after he saved her, they stare at each other fondly. Later Lance says "really, i think we make a great team.", allura doesnt react. With klance the same thing happened at the bonding moment, just the colors were

more romantic (purple, and not a washed out red color like allurances), and lance said the SAME thing "we make a great team", same fond faces (just this time keith reacted and didnt ignore him). Allurances scene was romantic but klances SUDDENLY wasnt?

ALSO to add on, "we make a good team" IS A PICKUP LINE. Lance used it on Allura and Keith, AND SHIRO HAD IT ON HIS VALENTINES CARD.

also fuck it how tf do they explain lance making fond faces at both girls and at keith? or how keith makes fond faces at lance? like i get that 1 expression can have more than 1 meaning but lol who looks and talks about their rival with a "i love them" face?
