Let me remind you what’s an archetype first and how many are there: an #archetype is a set pattern of behavior. Jung called them “primordial images” and the “fundamental units of the human mind.” Almost all human behavior is guided by archetypes. There’re 12 MAIN archetypes:

It is said that every character you see on TV and in films (and myths, religions, legends and fairy tails) represents an archetype. EVEN the Greek Gods. Yes! The Greek Gods are archetypes too! But there’s NOT a limit number of archetypes.

They’re influencing everything you do, think, and feel. Jung described archetypes as “the forms which the instincts assume.”

When we trigger an instinct, it activates a pattern of behavior like running a software program on your computer

Each member of #BTS represents an archetype (I’ll talk about them later). Jung also said that archetypes are “images that are integrally connected to the living individual by the bridge of the emotions.” CONNECTED. Just like we see the members connected in the last VCRs

“Our goal in working with archetypes is to bring the forces of the unconscious into balance with our conscious mind—to integrate the archetypes to come to psychic wholeness ”. Bringing the unconscious to the LIGHT This is connected to Tae’s VCR. I’ll explain it in a minute.

Understanding archetypes is a powerful way to Know YourSELF, your psyche “The ancient Greeks were the last civilization that appreciated the power of archetypes. The Greeks called them Gods and Goddesses”

So...the thing is...we’ve been in Jin’s mind this whole time. The mvs represents different places/cages of his mind. They’re all in the same place. They’re like neighbors. They’re part of Jin and Jin is part of them. They’re all in the same place but with different “views”

But first, let’s talk about #EGO so you can understand the VCRs better. The EGO (an archetype) “represents the CONSCIOUS () mind as it comprises the thoughts, memories, and emotions a person is aware of.”

Let’s think about the conscious as LIGHT and unconscious as DARKNESS. Okay, let’s keep goin’.

As you can see, #Jungkook’s and #Hoseok’s VCR are full of light That means they’re in the Conscious Mind. The #SELF is aware of them (not repressed)

We can also see they can interact/communicate through light too! The archetypes must be synchronized continuously to function properly (if there’s a desynchronization it can cause mental illnesses like depression)

Since they’re in the Conscious Mind they need to “share” information so they can be “updated” That info can come from the inner and outter world.

Here, I think #Jungkook is writing what #Hobi is listening to (Jungkook is writing the lyrics).

That info can be translated to knowledge, personal experiences, inner thoughts, etc. It’s personal growth

Here #Jungkook is representing their archetypes...including the #SHADOW.

And here’s the CLOCK As I said before, there’re 12 main archetypes. TWELVE.

Why? The number 12 represents the concept of unity and the notion of organisation and balance

(The number 13 btw belongs to the underworld, the hidden, the unsaid, to that which is real and that which reacts but does not show itself.)

So what we see in this VCR and also in #Namjoon’s and #Jimin’s VCR is the same. The synchronicity They’re all in the Conscious Mind. Full of light The Light interacts with them. The #SELF is aware of them (they’re not repressed). Here we can see they’re connected too.

BUT...I noticed that Namjoon is coming out the darkness to the light. I guess he’s no longer repressed. We see his “room” is full of Light now. But Jimin’s one is still a little dark right? But why?

I think that (this is my personal interpretation)...we’re not the same person every single day of our lives. Life and circumstances change and so do we. So I guess some archetypes are more “active” (or aware) depending on the context. It’s not just A or B, darkness or light

So, since archetypes can “share info” to be synchronized, they communicate. I think this VCR also represents how that “new info” can affect someones archetype. (I’ll explain this in the next tweet). Here we can see the clock again. Unity. Organisation. Balance

We can see how #Namjoon is “sharing” information with #Jimin. He brings light to him. He’s trying to help Jimin.

If we focus in his BU story, Jimin NEEDS to face something about his past, right? That’s represented here:

For example: imagine Jimin goes to therapy in the BU. That therapy will bring new info about the outter world that affects the inner world .

Namjoon (archetype) receives that info since he’s closer to the Conscious (to the Light) and the he shares it with Jimin (archetype).
