Oh! I see we are having the performative gender aesthetics conversation. Venus in Taurus (soon to be Rx) says, tell me more!
PERFORMATIVE is the word.
Every behavior is performative. It’s embodying a concept or externalizing something that has internal (psychological) origins

Gender is performative
Sexuality is performative
Race is performative
And check this out! Class is performative, too!
None of these things are inherent. Every single behavior, emotion, and even instinctual response is socialized to be performed in a specific way.
Between Venus Rx in Taurus and a new series of eclipses in Scorpio and Taurus, we are learning about identity and the behaviors that perform those identities. We’re also learning the difference between assigned designations and the internal identities we experience psychically.
For so many of us the identities that we experience internally, in our psyche, and even if our bodies, are incongruent the designations we have been assigned.
Identity ≠ Designation
The former is internally experienced, the latter is externally assigned. Again, this is about race, gender, sexuality, and class. This is what Venus Rx is about in 2020. And, eclipses in Taurus and Scorpio 2020-2022.
We often don’t realize how performative class is. Especially the rules about how those who have been victimized by poverty should spend their money and time. Don’t buy Jordans, don’t eat steak, no pleasure, don’t have children, don’t get married.
