Finished up watching Tua’s pro day film. Although there is obviously a significant difference between practice throws and in game throws, I felt like overall what I saw was very positive. I specially wanted to observe his deep passing and throwing on the run. Thread Below

On long/intermediate throws there are some notable tendencies that Tua has (like any QB).
Prior to his injury the first green
shows him planting his right foot down. The
shows his left foot following through, when would indicate his full body weight and momentum translating over his right leg. The second green
shows external rotation at the right hip

We see the same type of movement pattern on similar type throws in his pro day film.
First green
is right stance leg.
shows follow through of his left foot indicating body weight on right leg. Second green
shows that external rotation at his hip. You can see this same pattern on nearly all this throws during his pro day.

If there is one thing to possibly nitpick from his pro day it was Tua’a accuracy while throwing on the run. During these types of throws Tua was usually very accurate, even under duress. Here are a few examples. Example (1)
Example (2)
Finally Example (3). Less accurate but understandable given the pressure he was facing.
Now looking at similar throws during his pro day. Tua is not under pressure but there are a couple of throws where he is throwing behind the receiver despite the passes still being competed.
You can see at the end here how the reviver needs to adjust.
From another angle.
Again I know I’m being critcal on one clip of a throw. Do I think it’s the end of the world? No way. I would expect that to get better with practice and time as Tua continues to rehab. I am still very high and have him as my #1 QB in this class.
This footage was as a whole positive and confirms what most other medical experts and even Tua himself have been telling us that he is doing well. I have no intel or insider information but as a Physical Therapist and someone who practices optimizing human movement peformamce...
...on a daily basis these are things I would want to see from clients. If you want to see the rest of my QB rankings make sure you jet over to @TheFFchamps website. Feel free to ask questions, share this thread or leave your feedback!
