Not everyone can “make art” or “smash the patriarchy” at this particular moment. Not everyone can “feed the poor” because they are trying to feed themselves. /4
Or maybe, you have everything you need, but you are still struggling just to get by, hour by hour, without going out of your mind. And that’s OK. /5
Watch stupid TV shows. Blow off the homeschooling schedule. Complain about the little things. Get angry at the government. Eat the cookies. Yell at the TV. Curse your cancelled birthday party. If you’re not hurting yourself or someone else, it’s all perfectly normal. /6
Above all, don’t let anyone make you think your feelings right now are not valid. /7
