To the people who make the argument: What is the point of being careful right now because this will go on for long and eventually we'll have to go on living our lives so why not do it right now?
Answer: You're dumb to think that time has no value in all of this. Here's why:

Time will buy you knowledge which is the most important weapon in fighting a pandemic. When you don't know how it enters you, how it attacks you, how contagious it is, how can you prevent it from spreading and how can you defend yourself once it starts attacking you, you don't

go head on with your enemy. It is best to retreat during this time and get as much knowledge as you can to answer those questions which can play a huge rule in defeating this pandemic. Within 3 months we have learnt so much about the disease that we are able to test, put drugs

for treatment on trial, find effective social distancing techniques like masks, and how to treat critical patients in intensive care. Every day that you avoid this disease, increases your chances of survival if God forbid you catch it because everyday we are learning new things.

Please try to understand the value of time and knowledge in all of this and do everything right now to avoid catching and spreading this disease not just to flatten the curve but also to give yourself a better chance of fighting it.

And finally, I know many people do not have the privilege of practicing social distancing, working from their homes or sustain their families without work for more than a few days. Let the govt figure out how to support them. Most of you here have that privilege. Don't act dumb.
