We know the origin of the term HODL.
It was someone who got burned trading and figured they could get more fiat gains by holding steady instead of actively trading.
Is this still what a HODLer is? Or has the term HODLer become someone who won’t trade BTC for fiat in general?

Btw, my question sparked from this thread. Seems like a genuine semantic misalignment on how we define a HODLer. In my mind, a HODLer isn’t interested in fiat. Maybe it’s not so black and white, and a HODLer is in the middle.
