Yesterday, I had a great talk with @hellonehha regarding how to start writing blogs and speaking at events. She shared her thoughts about all the necessary steps which I have compiled in this thread. Thank you, Neha, for your time it was great talking to you. :) #DEVdiscuss

On Writing Blog:
1. Start by reading the other blogs to get an idea of how to write.
2. Try to answer WHAT and WHY about your topic. Write the blog post to solve a problem. Your blog post will much likely to help a reader if they can connect with the problem statement.

4. Do what works for you, whether its sharing code snippets or hand drawing.
5. Re-read your blog after a week to understand your mistakes and correct them.

6. Do not pressurize yourself to write. It is something which you should enjoy.
7. Use draft posts to save any topic which comes to your mind, so you can later write about them.
8. There will always be negative validations, ignore them and keep moving forward.

On Speaking:
1. Select topics which make you feel comfortable and confident.
2. Begin speaking either at your workplace or local meetups.
3. Prepare a PPT and video for the topic. It will come handy when you apply as a speaker for an event.
