It'll be a while till I make an FF7R video, so here are my general opinions based on what I've experienced so far. I love the combat, materia is awesome. The side quests are boring. The new stuff is hit or miss, not feeling most of it. Gotta play more before final opinions.

When I’m doing the main content I’m basically loosing it with excitement at the hype levels on screen then I’m back doing side quests and I legit have a hard time staying awake. I might main line the game.

I DO NOT HATE THIS GAME. It's not even bad. The side quests are boring that's all I'm saying right now. Don't mistake what I'm saying here for me saying the game is terrible because it's not.
