[1] Finally got a #valorantkey / have been part of the beta as of yesterday.
My thoughts so far:
Pros:
-Gunplay is tight (think a more forgiving CSGO)
-Tons of potential for devastating combos of champ abilities
-Good netcode (very little bs in my experience)
-Well optimized

Cons:
-Characters don't have a ton of personality
-Maps feel the same in terms of look
-Sound is a little wonky. Hard to get a sense of where steps are coming from at time.

Overall:
A lot more good than bad. The cons can be fixed with time. I think the game has a lot of potential especially if it's F2P. However if Riot is going to break the game every time a champ is released similar to LoL then this game will struggle.

That said, it is so satisfying when you make a good use of an ability to pick up a few kills or turn the tide of a round. 3v1 and 4v1 situations don't feel as hard to overcome. The meta is still developing but I think this game will get the esport scene Overwatch wanted.
