Here's an inside account of what liberal Delhi revolution (including JNU) business is about vis-a-vis atrocities on Muslims.

- Propagandists like @rahulkanwal can vilify and demonize Muslims, target Madarsa students, further Hindutva propaganda all year round and (1/n)
comes one sting operation of a BA student and ABVP goon, he suddenly becomes a Messiah of truthful journalism. Guess what, the vilification of Muslims doesn't account for anything worth acknowledgement or question. How he treats issues THEY face decides what he is. (2/n)
- Deepika Padukone works in movies that not only shows Muslims in bad light but also alters the events of history to suit Hindutva propaganda. But she comes to JNU after a dozen ABVP kids beat up students with iron rods, shows her face and goes away.. she is hailed as a (3/n)
champion of human rights, a fighter India desperately needed and Muslims should look up to. Op eds and blogs are written on how brave she is, and what colour she painted Muslims with in her movies is again FORGOTTEN. Who does that, the woke revolutionary groups of Delhi. (4/n)
- Once you observe closely you'd realise that JNU students attacked by 50 ABVP goons with rods is a bigger story in media than students of AMU and Jamia being attacked by police & RAF with pistols, assault rifles, pellets, stun grenades and tear gas cannons (5/n)
Also, if you look at how media reported the two events, you'd find JNU activists who braved ABVP goons with iron rods were called warriors, fighters and what not while students of AMU and Jamia despite their immense bravery would be portrayed as victims. (6/n)
The revolutionary groups in Delhi do not wish to see Muslims as fighters. For them and their media, Muslims can either be villain or victims. They cannot be seen fighting their own fight. Else, these revolutionary groups will become jobless (7/n)
The sooner we realise the Nexus of good journalists with these revolutionaries, the better for us. Guess why not the actual voices of community are called in debates be it activists or Muslim clerics..guess why there's always a group of Savarnas (8/n)
Discussing Dalit issues on TV? Because if Muslims and Dalits would start speaking for themselves, these revolutionaries would soon be out of job. This nexus designs and provides false leaders from these revolutionary groups to oppressed sections.. (9/n)
so that the actual voices are never known to the masses. When AMU and JMI were fighting against CAA, NRC & NPR, JNU had no considerable participation in the movement as a university. That's how Muslim Students of JNU was formed. (10/n)
The marginalized communities need to know who are their actual fighters, actual voices. The media won't provide platform to our voices, unless of course they think they can further vilify our leaders, so it is we who have to reach out to our people and educate them.
