Why is it any Black people Trump likes or praise is a sell out or coon? I want to ask black people, what has Trump done to YOU? Don’t tell me about the Central Park 5 or what allegedly happened in the 70’s at his properties. Has Trump targeted black people negatively in any way?
RE: Central Park 5 - I see Trump's reaction as that of a wealthy developer worried about property values in Manhattan. The upper East Side near Central Park is PRIME NYC real estate. I'd LOVE to live there. While NOT GUILTY no one in the park "wilding" that night was "innocent."
I've been on trial and I can assure you no one is ruled INNOCENT in a court of law. Only in the court of public opinion.

RE: Racist landlords in 1970's NY - The climate was very different then. Integration was still relatively new, There was resistance in MANY quarters.
In Bushwick, Brooklyn landlords burned out so many low income tenants that insurance companies stopped issuing fire insurance for it to stop. Did they want them out because they were Black, or Hispanic? No. They wanted them out because they were POOR. Poverty is a crime to many.
There's been a political trend in this country of first making poverty synonymous with black, and then making criminal injustice specifically a black issue. This is just as disingenuous as making CRIME synonymous with black. Both sides play the same game from different angles.
To be poor is to be pitied or despised yet so many blacks who aren't poor are encouraged to wrap themselves in that banner. That way when any elitist, septuagenarian comes along his/her disdain for the poor can be labeled RACISM and we chomp at the bit, hook line and sinker.
