Sanders progressive demi-god is a media fiction propagated by 'leftists' who saw a mediocre, white, male, career politician as a vessel in which to carry forth their rage and entitlement. It was never about what he/they achieved, but what he/they feel they are owed

What Sanders' two losses demonstrate to me is the hollow appeal of the laziness inherent in social media activism and the flaccidity of media narratives when not buttressed by real world action.

In February Bernie was hailed as the inevitable, presumptive nominee, all were expected to bend the knee or be crushed by the fictional hordes of the youth revolution. When black voters turned the narrative upside down in SC, the media did not advise him to sit down and shut up.

Instead they pushed the idea of a non-existent narrow path to victory that defied all logic and numbers. A path that never would have been cleared for a female or POC. In the end the narrative was ineffective and it will be so moving forward as well.
