hometown scene report: somehow every dipshit from my high school who really liked bring me the horizon & chiodos has been sucked into a pyramid scheme that scams ppl into buying $4000 water filters

over the past 3-4 months ive observed the one ringleader recruit several of his idiot friends. now all they do is flood instagram with Tim and Eric level graphics promoting the ‘healthiest water around’

the latest development is that they were all clearly instructed to begin spreading massive amounts of disinformation about how their magical water cures coronavirus and cancer lmao

tbh ive been obsessed w watching this scam seed and propogate across my hometown. youtube k-holed and found the marketing video wherein the diagram that explains the recruiting process is an ACTUAL PYRAMID

The video actually says outright that you will make no money for the first 6 months even if you are extremely good at scamming people lol

the ‘company’s’ social media posts frame their ethos around entrepreneurship / grit / persistence and the ol classic farce about ‘pulling yourself up by your own bootstraps’. these people are so fucking obsessed with elon musk / tesla
