"Subsequently, these ships traveled southward in the waters between Okinawa Main Island and Miyako Island." Same source.

On the map, Miyako-jima is marked. The neon green island slightly to the NE of the marker is Okinawa. The formation passed between these 2 islands.
Most prominently showing in the formation is the aircraft carrier Liaoning (16), China's first. The Kuznetsov class ship has six aircraft visible on deck (3 fighters and 3 helicopters). At least one (and probably 3) J-11/J-15 is identifiable, with 2 helos probably Z-18s.
Also featured is the Hulun Lake (965), a Type 901 Fast Combat Support Ship capable of 25 kts. Commissioned in 2017, she is 1 of 2 in PLAN inventory. The ship is designed similar to USN Supply-class support ships, which support large surface action groups.
Next photo is of a Type 054A Frigate (Jiangkai II). Pictured is the Zaozhuang (542), the newest of the type commissioned in 2019. She is armed to the teeth: 32-cell VLS, 8 C-803 ASM/TLAMs, a helicopter hangar, torpedoes, ASW rockets, a 76mm deck gun, & 2 CIWS. Capable of ~27 kts.
Her sister, the Rizhao (598) sailed with the formation as well. She was commissioned in 2018.

The other 2 ships observed were Type 052D destroyers (Luyang III), the Xining (117) & Urumqi (118), commissioned in 2017 & 2018 respectively. These are considered China's 1st AEGIS DDG.
