This is a BRILLIANT case study as to why we founded AfghanEye: Afghans with the 'wrong' views asking the 'wrong' questions, are routinely targeted with War on Terror terminology. This is to silence, even sabotage them

I am blessed to live in the West.

Were I to be accused with no evidence, purely out of spite, of being a terrorist in Zurmat/Girishk/Shah Wali Kot around 2001, the likelihood of me facing time incarcerated and tortured without trial would be scarily high.
The slingers of words like 'terrorist' have global media to back them and their shoddy narratives.

Even so, it seems the world has learnt much from its misinformation on Afghanistan. Words like 'terrorist' will scarcely hold currency for much longer. That is finally changing.
Turns out that what I was speaking about in this thread was mentioned and echoed by not long after by @WFaqiri.
