This tweet isn’t me defending the show. Also I’m someone which the show has helped. I don’t want to explain how or why because I’ve talked about it so many times but this show really did help me. It encouraged me to talk to my family and seek out the right treatment I needed.

Depression is really hard to deal with and I was really lonely and just in a dark place... I related to Hannah because of it and I made friends through this show. and I didn’t feel as alone anymore... I still have depression. I’m just on anti depressants and getting therapy.

I feel like I’m in a better place now than I was before the show came out.

And obviously this show introduced me to Katherine Langford. and I’m forever grateful and love her. I’m also grateful for her support towards the lgtbq+ community because I came out not too long ago. Dislike her characters or not, she’s really caring to me and her fans.

one final thing I want to say is Katherine Langford and Josephine Langford are the nicest, caring and unproblematic celebrities.
