I am beginning to understand that User Researchers and Private Investigators/Detectives are the same job, simply serving different clients, for a different pay.

#DesignTwitter
User Researchers deliver journey maps, PIs deliver case-files after following 'target users' for a few days.

If only, design teams outsourced 'research' part to investigators and the police (questionable, very).
User Testing tools track clicks, scrolls etc which is basically stalking people digitally. Stalking is frowned upon in physical world, but is OK, necessary even, in digital world?

Facebook and Google take this to another level. For them, digital stalking IS the business model.
