It is easy to forget about the workers who stock our stores, make our coffees, ring up our groceries. Or the people we never see who pick our produce, clean our offices & homes or care for us in hospitals. They are overlooked, underpaid, often uninsured & working several jobs

These are the people we take for granted, the people we debate about, often abstractly, when we discuss minimum wage. Many low wage workers get paid just $7.25/hr or $15k/yr. But they are the backbone, the foundation, of our economy & represent 44% of all workers in the U.S.

They are facing a pandemic head on to make sure our economy keeps running. So let's make sure that when we come out of this, we do what WE can to provide for them the way they provided for us.
