And: IF medical advice is being shaped by what is perceived to be politically possible/palatable, shouldn’t that calculation be made public. The public might well have a different view. Again, this is important cos question of what happens when lockdown ends is not closed. (2/3)
As a case in point: when I talk to MPs, there’s a lot of opposition against level of state surveillance that track and trace would require. I’m far from convinced that feeling extends to most voters. (3/3)
