I see so many people tweeting about not being on a sleep schedule (and so many 3am texts). I can’t your quell anxiety but here’s what works for me: 1) no computer in my bedroom EVER. 2) I charge my phone on my dresser—I don’t pick it up if I wake up in the middle of the night.
I usually wake up at 4am to pee, and if I so much as look at my phone to check the time (or read a text), I’m UP. 3) no caffeine after noon, especially gay water (cold brew). 4) I often take 3g of melatonin and yes it gives me strange, vivid dreams but life’s about trade-offs.
5) I do the same thing before bed every night so my body knows what’s up and who’s the boss (skincare, meds, fill humidifier).

For me, keeping on a sleep schedule (12am - 6:30am, 7x a week) is the most essential way to stay sane and as... not depressed as possible. Good luck!
PS some unsolicited, mansplain-y advice that people will roll their eyes at: maybe stop tweeting about not being able to sleep? I feel like you’re psyching yourselves out.
