Whatever this is day 2: it was the lung pain that had me calling telehealth & being sent to emerg yesterday.
Consistent symptoms: sore throat, chest pressure (as if it was the second day of a marathon), small cough (as if I had to clear my throat), heart racing (that could just be anxiety).
Symptoms that come and go: chills, achey muscles, energy (I've been mostly energetic, but on a bad day it was really hard to stop napping..again maybe tired from stress), headache, nausea, sniffles.

No fever.
But the lung pain...I have never been so keenly aware of the curves of my lungs until I felt an ache on the left side of them.
Last night, I took a sudafed, vitamins, and sleeping was come and go. Chest pressure made me uncomfortable so it was hard to find a position to settle in. I would sit up, do the breathing exercises people have been posting about....
and alternate sleeping on my side and my stomach (a position I rarely sleep in, but it alleviated the tightness in my chest). A couple of times I woke up from sleeping on my side, gasping as if I was falling.
I drinking tea, doing breathing exercises to alleviate my chest tightness and bit of lung pain. The kids exhibit no symptoms so we're trying our best to socially distance and wear my gloves and mask if they are in the room with me. It's gonna be hard to entertain my daughter.
We can do this though. I hope. I just want it to go away!
I recommend everyone just stay home. I have been extra careful. I could've gotten whenever I was grocery shopping or when I went out for a run or to give Alex fresh air when no one was around (really early morning).
I washed my hands and even our clothes often. Even if this were just a cold, think it's good for all of us in general to try not to get anything right now. Hell, I just about some crazy runners, running marathons in their homes or balconies....I will not do that. Heh.
Finally, here's K2 wondering why I don't snuggle. She is now sitting beside me looking up at me at a distance and please don't get sick, kitty.
Day 8 of symptoms, Day 3 of quarantine. Last night 102F fever. Sweats, chills. Now back to 98F. Pulse rate is still high for me 93 (my reg resting pulse rate is 56-60). Chest tightness has eased off. Lungs pain gone, feel sore. Dry cough still there, not as intense. I'm so tired.
Fever's back. Gonna have a Tylenol, deep breathe, move around/stretch a bit, and rest. Exhausted.

The kids have had their lunch.
OK. Getting up. That wasn't what I would call a nap AT ALL.
I had to get up and do stuff earlier because my cat would not leave my side in bed. It's impossible to socially distance from her rn and it's weird cuz she's only like this when I'm on the sofa. She prefers one of my chairs for her sleeping. #catsarelyfe
Day 9 of symptoms, day 4 of quarantine: Lying on my stomach helped me sleep. Cough still there, less than yesterday. Ribs, lungs, back sore (from coughing probably). Just really tired, dizzy most of all. Stupidly exhausted. No fever. No chest tightness. Gonna hydrate, move about.
That's the hard part at the moment. Being so tired. It's a physical and mental struggle to do anything. I don't want the fever or the chest tightness back cuz that was hell on earth. Still weird to feel parts of my lungs.
One thing: the back of my eyes are still sore from the headache/fevers. Put an cool towel on face to help. Been using our tiny balcony to get kiddo & I some fresh air. Going to try and help her with some google classroom today. She baked a cake for her cousin's zoom bday.
Took a nap,but chest tightening, lung soreness came back after I woke up. Did my breathing exercises. Took me forever to get up off the couch again. BUT NO FEVER again so far.
