Basically I made this thread because in Jimins recent song called “filter” Jimin sings a line saying “I can be your genie, how bout Aladdin.” This line has a massive impact and I’ll explain throughout this thread..( it’ll probably be a short thread btw)
Let’s start with Genie. Basically Genie means that you are being controlled by someone, in the movie Aladdin there was a magic lamp and when the lamp 
was rubbed a Genie 
would appear. This genie will give you three wishes and whatever you ask for it will give it to you!

You are the master of the genie, it’ll give you whatever you want. You are in control of it, you’re dominating it. So when Jimin says “I can be your Genie” he’s basically saying he can be a sub (let you dominate him).
