Having a wild convo with the Central Police District's comms team. I've organised an Easter egg hunt at the park across the road. Didn't look like a goer until yesterday, so a bit of a rush job. Our park is tiny, so egg hunt'll draw probs 15 kids (hoping 30?)
Contacted comms on fb at 0832hrs today to give a heads-up. They replied at 2117hrs that "people are encouraged to stay at home in their bubbles .... to leave home only to access essential services".

They don't want people walking in their neighbourhood??? https://twitter.com/nzpolice/status/1248525631404625921?s=20
Gave relevant clauses of Health Act Orders to explain what is permitted. Offered further interaction. Then realised that their response is data. Switched hats, made full disclosure, and am now awaiting another answer.
I want to know if the the Police (either generally or just the Central Police District) are discouraging the claiming of rights given under clauses 2(e) through (h) of the Section 70(1)(f) Health Act Order. https://covid19.govt.nz/assets/resources/Legislation-and-key-documents/COVID-19-Section-701f-Notice-to-all-persons-in-New-Zealand-3-April-2020-v2.PDF
(It's one egg each. They've seven hours to hunt. Physical distancing etc. is covered. Instead of sanitising eggs, we're taking straight out of packaging with gloves. Caregivers are being advised to sanitise in case other hands got there in-between.) https://twitter.com/TeachingConsult/status/1242733941271842816?s=20
(They don't need seven hours - a big window of time increases the opportunity both to attend and to maintain physical distancing. We are trying to tell these families that though we are apart, there are people in the community who care. That means thinking about stuff like time.)
