Thread on my favourite YouTube channels! These are channels that always provide something inspiring or something interesting to think about.
First up - some light-hearted film commentary. Screen Rant's Pitch Meetings. I don't even subscribe to Screen Rant but watching these pitch meetings are super easy, barely an inconvenience:
Also in comedy, Safiya Nygaard's channel. I'm sure most people already watch her (she's got 8m subscribers) but her content never disappoints: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbAwSkqJ1W_Eg7wr3cp5BUA
Next in the 'Home' category, I've got two channels on opposite sides of the same spectrum. The first is a brand new channel (that's already almost at 100k) and that's Doing it Ourselves and about a family that's restoring a French chateau themselves https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCK9Fi7QQmDUU6JLXorHdrpg/featured
Then there's Living Big In A Tiny House, which is all about Tiny Houses. Bryce is excellent at interviewing the homeowners, and the houses are (usually) beautiful https://www.youtube.com/user/livingbigtinyhouse
In the Food category, I LOVE @epicurious. I know most people watch Bon Appetit but the Basic Skills Tests and Four Levels of... series are chaotic in the best kind of way https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcjhYlL1WRBjKaJsMH_h7Lg
I'm not vegan, but Pick Up Limes has the most aesthetically pleasing and wholesome recipes on the internet. Sadia has such a warm and welcoming personality https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCq2E1mIwUKMWzCA4liA_XGQ
I personally can't wear any of @bestdressed 's outfits but her videos are so creative (especially with her editing) and she's really funny so I really like watching her channel as well https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnQhwPVwcP-DnbUZtIMrupw
When I want to learn about fashion as an art form, then my go-to is Justine Leconte. I don't agree with all of her opinions, but she's really good at explaining trends and talking about how clothing is made from start to finish https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChxkFSjTE7nLCHsDk8_pRhg
I have two art channels to recommend. I love watching Minnie Small paint. Her artwork is so interesting and her videos are thoughtful https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLcxo0ysMP27XTiRKqrdASg
If you want to learn how to paint for yourself, then Shayda Campbell is an amazing instructor. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcR1TUaD8Zn6P6O8hOA-xYA
It's really difficult finding booktube channels that align with the type of reading I want to do right now, but this is one of the reasons why I love @ArielBissett . She's really thoughtful with her opinions but still appreciates fun books https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7meg6KOPt_CRTLcEiy2lGg
