Really annoying having your identity constantly feeling like it's on the knife's edge. Being a diaspora Asian and bi-racial is like a double whammy some days. Suddenly you're one thing and one day you're the next based on someone's idea of what is or isn't your experience.

The quantifiers for what you are or aren't are often based off of some impossible standard. It's never a box I've ever fit into. What counts. What doesn't. Am I somehow less than who I was before because I moved? Or because of where I'm living now? It's annoying..
