I would like to share my love and happiness. I have been blessed nine times over. I am incredibly grateful that my family has grown by one and I think you for your well wishes.

Meet my son, Peeves

This is how I got my baby

In a WhatsApp group with @theJessness @KateFZA among others and yesterday @malum_datum found an abandoned baby in a car bonnet.

She asked the group if any of us could take him. The others couldn& #39;t. They asked me.

I believe my answer was

"FUCK YES"

She took him to the vet and he has cat herpes which he& #39;s been given meds for and hates taking BTW.

She brought him to me yesterday afternoon. Yes, I know. Don& #39;t scold me. It was for a cat, okay? I& #39;ll break the law for a cat who needs a home

So he& #39;s named Peeves for two reasons.

1 "this is my pet, Peeves" cracks me up

2 after Peeves the poltergeist from Harry Potter. Coz he& #39;s a naughty shit and he& #39;s very vocal

I told my mom a few hours before he arrived

"we& #39;re getting a kitten!"

She pretended to be upset.

"you know you must clean its poop?"

"where are you gonna put it"

"where will it sleep?"

Rolled her eyes when I referred to him as "my son"

But half an hour later she was singing to him and then this happened after a while. This morning she came to fetch him from my room coz she missed him

The universe or whatever knew I needed a baby. Lockdown has been hard for me and I had a panic attack on Thursday night.

But now I have my son and my heart is so filled with love for this baby. Like he& #39;s just so beautiful

He peed on his own in the litter box and I was so shocked and thought

"but what if I stole someone else& #39;s baby"

But my friends and I realised even if he was, he wasn& #39;t taken care of coz he& #39;s not neutered, hasn& #39;t had his shots, no chip and was filthy

After his bath this morning. It was very traumatic for both of us

Sulking coz he had to bath. Silly child

After he was done sulking

Me every time Peeves looks at me

And every time he looks for me
