In 2018 he had a live show called Megadate, that year I was courting a girl I met at a wedding who lived in Sheffield, whilst I lived in London. For our first big date in London I meticulously planned our date, and referred to it as Megadate.

Every date was referred to as a Megadate, combined with the name of a Bond theme:

3: On Her Majesty's Secret Megadate
4: Four Your Eyes Megadate [sic]
5: Licence To Megadate
8: Octo-Megadate

Watching Wonderdate takes me back to the time I lived in a tiny hovel in Brixton, laughing with my friend @DMailMattO at daft plans to woo this amazing woman. One included seven-hour drive for one night in Cumbria, and a hungover breakfast in a miniature railway station in Boot.

We'd speak for five hours on the phone until the early hours, or do 260-mile round-trips to have dinner together. Now nearly two years on @Kelly_journo and I live together, in self-isolating bliss. Every time I think of our courtship I think back to Megadate, and @timkeyperson
