I've said it before and I'll say it again, because I'm rewatching this show for the umpteenth time but THIS time I REALLY NEED a distraction from real life:

Adventure time is one of the best shows ever for millenials, one of the best scifi shows ever, one of the best cartoons..

No one is going to see this tweet or give a shit, but I'm still putting it into the internet void because I love it that much, unabashedly, and I'm willing to put an unseen thread on the internet for literally no other fucking reason than I just. Want to.

The main character is a basic little hyped kid who has NO IMAGINATION. which doesn't sound special, except this kid is living in the most surreal and grippy existence known to man. In spite of his lack of imagination, he somehow thrives.

He manages to turn his super-power-laden best friend/dog (who could literally be the "top dog" no pun intended of the whole universe) from a casual sociopath into a caring being.

He also becomes a fond little plaything/slight love interest of the smartest being, the one exerting the most control of their world (who is literally just bubblegum from our time doused with enough radiation to somehow become a genius, able to restart some semblance of society.)

And also becomes a best friend and confidante of an actual vampire whose father rules hell, and turns her from someone jaded from her first attempt at saving or salvaging humanity (and seeing it nearly wiped out) to a being full of empathy for the living.

I could go on. But I'm already sounding pretty insane and honestly no one's gonna read it anyway.

Fuck it I'm going on anyway. First of all, Twitter hasn't given an edit tweet option so I meant "trippy" not "grippy" earlier, like on the second tweet of this thread. And I'm devoting this tweet block to addressing that moment. I'm owning it.
