but wow, what a moment... I will never forget
I feel like I'm just gonna spend a part of this morning watching music videos that I like, so I guess that this is about to become a thread for that jdjdjd sorry for the spam! 🙇🏼‍♂️
it changed me as a person and it shaped me into who I am today
I still feel terrible for their situation, but this one was so creative yet so simple and with such a smart message too
it was a cultural reset... and still my fave song by them as well, btw jdjdjd the colors are soooooo beautiful in here, I wish that twitter could let me add more than 4 pics
way too ahead of its time for some people, if you ask me
when music videos play with focus and blur, but also with pixelated and glitched imagery >>>>>> perfect shot next to a perfect shot next to a perfect shot...
I don't even need a caption for you all to know how much of a legend yubin is just because of this music video... WHEW!!! the outfits, the theme, the colors... 10/10
sooooo gorgeous... probably one of my top 3 and just because of the visuals! but let's talk about colors, the way that they used the budget in the best possible way, the meaning, all the visual metaphors... wow. just wow.
no one's ever gonna be at their level... what a wonderful use of black and white and how great the way that it also applies to the message and the connotation of the title! and not only that, but the way that the choreo has a huge influence of that too, and the outfits as well!
and if we have to talk about smart imagery, powerful and meaningful visuals that have a lot to do with the message, and about keeping it all smart and simple, let's talk about The Queen (even if the quality says no, I'm sorry about that jdjdjd)
following that same line of sort of religious imagery, let's talk about the latest addition of my list! I already tweeted a mini-thread about this one alone, but it's just too good to be left out
outfits and sets are always on point with oh my girl, but I really like how smart it is the use of music when it comes to the actual video here, and how the visual transitions are connected with the drops of the song as well + how dark it can get sometimes?? I adore it
the cinematography is very constant with circular movements and the photography also has a lot of circular shapes, but the pastel colors, the blur and the sound itself just make it even better. it almost makes me feel dizzy, but in a good way?? somehow? idk but it works so well!!
and now let's talk about ART!!! and MEANING!!! god how much I loved this comeback, it was a moment for twitter user marisolist... a moment that I will never forget.
dare I say... my fave kpop music video?! at this point I assume that you all are familiar with its message already, but again this is just too good to be left out
and now let's talk about music video royalty... no one, truly no one, is doing it or will ever do it like them AT ALL
it's a Classic, your honor
and yet again... way too ahead of its time for some people. they are just legends like that, and there are sooooo many different and interesting theories about the meaning as well. no one is doing it like them either
temporarily stopping this thread now, but since you all are here I suggest you to check out this one as well. it's "midnight circus" by sunny hill, and amazing song aside, the meaning is just as powerful, and surprisingly not so talked about? I would like to know your thoughts!
