Football has no plan...

...we need the strategy that @premierleague @EFL and @FA are employing for the medium term as a minimum.

This dictates short term strategy and actions in any normal business.

I have to assume they have short, medium and long term strategies, even...
...though I’ve never seen or heard of such from them.

All I’ve ever seen is crisis, short term management.

But it’s the medium and long term strategies that will save football by making it sustainable.

Against the backdrop of longer term strategies you should decide...
...short term actions.

I’ve said it before...

If your long term strategy is to walk to London, every short term action plan gets you nearer, even if it’s only 1 step nearer.

Without ‘London’ or a long term strategy your chances of long term success is close to zero.
Your short term actions are taking you to Glasgow, but you don’t know it.

So ANY successful business looks at option for now BUT checks which one takes them closer to their long term goal.

In football the only goal is to finish this season despite the damage it may cause...
...in future.

The problems of sustainability get worse, football ends up further away from having a sustainable pyramid.

This is clueless.

Any short term action needs to be accompanied by a medium and long term impact statement from @EFL

Or they are not doing their job.
Good morning BTW.
